"Eumel"

Look out! - Our "Eumel" is our second ClownNose that is made of leather.

This is the big brother of "Drömel" and is a very energetic yet playful nose due to its size.  It already demands his attention, but the dark red shade makes it look charming and not too dominant. The nostrils are worked a little longer and cover them very nicely. It is not quite round, but still has the unique effect of a round clown nose.

The "Eumel" is well suited for medium to large noses.

Material: strong, vegetable-tanned cowhide - also called blank leather. We have selected particularly stable, strong and highly durable leather for this purpose. First it is wet-worked into shape. After drying, it is sanded and smoothed. Then it is painted several times with red paint. A final leather sealant ensures that the ClownNose also keeps its colour for a long time.

Word usage: Eumel is colloquially interpreted as the term for an affable, likeable person. The Duden describes the term as outdated youth language, yet it is used all the time here in OWL. There is also the verb "eumeln" for activities that usually characterise a "eumel". "Nen bisken rumeumeln" (to be boisterous, to enjoy oneself and feel good about it) is a delightful activity with which a clown can occupy himself for hours.

Leather noses are a little hard at the beginning of wearing. On the other hand, they retain moisture very well during prolonged wear and thus do not drip. Over time, the leather also becomes a little softer.  Please note: the tiny wrinkles on the outer wall of the nose are a result of the production process, as are the slight colour shades. They underline once again that we are dealing with the natural material leather here!

These noses are only available with rubber band fastening!

Each shape is unique and designed and developed by the artist Anne Schwede herself. Either cast or dipped, depending on the nose type and size.

With your purchase, you will receive a separate certificate for each nose with the date of manufacture and fabrication number.
